E3 2016 Was Amazing! Here Are Some Things You Might Have Missed!

Hello everyone, E3 2016 has concluded, and my goodness were we blessed this year. The vast amount of games, technological advancements, and the overall hype was incredible this year. Personally, I am really impressed w/ Sony this year! However, I definitely have to put some RESPECK on Nintendo's name as well. "Zelda: Breath Of The Wild" and "Pokemon Sun & Moon" are great titles I'm looking forward to. With that being said, I would like to show you guys and girls some games that were revealed during E3 but didn't make the big presentations. Please take a load of from your busy day, grab your favorite snacks and embrace the content I am about to show you all :)

First I will be showing you all is from the Fate/Stay Night anime, and if you do not watch anime I truly feel sorry for you. Fate/Stay Night is an incredible show to get into, the animations are top notched, the fights are ridiculous, and this is one of the few series where you can not only relate to the main character.. But you can almost immediate feel emotionally attached to him. Now I will immediate, this Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star will be following the 'Musou' or 'Dynasty Warriors' style of gameplay. You know, that beat em' up style of combat where you ravage through mobs of fodder before you can finally destroy the main boss.. This kind of gameplay usually isn't my preference, but this anime is so great that I won't mind engaging in this beat em' up style game. To be able to play as or go up against Lancer, Archer, Gilgamesh, Berserker!! I have to get this title! Here is the trailer I saw for Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star, let me know what you think.

This next title I will be bringing to your attention is called 'Nioh' and this game is NOT getting the attention it deserves! People that have played the Alpha demo for this title, have been comparing this title to the well known 'Souls' series. You know, Dark Souls 1-3 and Demon Souls.. Because similar to the 'Souls' franchise, you start the game without a tutorial or general sense of direction. The game just tosses you into the world and lets you explore freely, there will be a few messages in the starting area to tell you which buttons do what, and that's about it. Good Luck! Lol, on a serious note, the combat in this game is really good! I played the demo and I'll be linking gameplay from my YouTube channel underneath this reveal trailer to let you all get a good feel for Nioh. I am really excited for this title, and to be honest, I like it more than Dark Souls. So without further delay, here is Nioh.

Attack On Titan is the next title I will be displaying here, which is based on the Attack On Titan anime series. However, unlike Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star, Attack On Titan has it's own gameplay mechanics. If you've never watched the Attack On Titan anime series please go and do so, you can watch it for free on: www.kissanime.to and trust me you will NOT be disappointed! Attack On Titan follows a story where human civiliazaton is spread out, and each of the few remaining cities are isolated within these massive walls, which protects them from the Titans. These big, nasty things, that prey on and eats humans! Of course, humans have fond away to combat these abominations, and that's exactly what you all shall be doing if you decide to pick up this title. Here, take a look

Vampyr! Is something I want to bring to everyone's attention as well, a very interesting Action RPG that I honestly know much about ("What do you know Jon Snow!"). Lol, this video I am about to show you all was just released as I was writing this blog, so we will actually be finding out about this together! Please let me know what you all think.

And that pretty much wraps up everything I wanted to share w/ you all, as always I am truly grateful to everyone who takes the time out to come see what I have to say. I love being able to share this kind of content w/ you all, and bring new things to everyone's attention. Sometimes some of the titles, sales, or content I share with you all in general, never receives the kind of appreciation it deserves. But thanks to you I am able to get the word out to people everywhere, so everyone can be aware of the existence of the content displayed here. So thank you, and I hope to you see you all next time :D

P.S. - I apologize for any grammatical errors you may come across :(

Lionheart's E3 2016 Highlights: Sony!

Ladies and Gentlemen, I am just going to follow Sony's lead and not say anything. Word's cannot even express how amazing this showcasing of games was. I am just going to drop videos for the games that I cared about the most and go to bed a very happy and a very proud PlayStation owner. Goodnight everyone!

God Of War

Horizon Zero Dawn

Spider Man PS4

Final Fantasy XV

The Whole Damn Conference

Lol, you guys know I am a jokester. But in all seriousness, this conference was CRAZY! They had an live orchestra play throughout the entire show! Every score of music you heard for every single video shown throughout the whole event was played LIVE and matched perfectly with everything that was shown. Bruh!! Come on, if you don't put some RESPECK on Sony's name today you seriously have some deep issues that need immediate counseling! They opened the show floor w/ a brand new God of War game that has been made a new from the ground up! And he has a SON! Kratos the God of War is showing love and affection, he is being a Father figure, a role model! Guys, I have a Son and I immediately began to imagine myself as Kratos and my Son as his Son. We went out into the wilderness, I was trying to teach my Son how to hunt and how to survive in the vast and crazy world. He messes up because he's too anxious, unexpected circumstances begin to spiral in one after another and although I hate to admit it.. I kind of need some help. So I command my Son to take up his arms, and join me in a fight for our lives! He aims bow at the beast before him, and he shoots! Ouch!!!! You shot me! Grrrrrrrr! I crush the beast, showing my Son how it's done, and off we go to continue our original hunt as if nothing ever happened. COME ON!!! RESPECK IT!

But wait, I cannot and will not come down in the slightest! Horizon Zero Dawn! HORIZON, ZERO, DAWN!!!!! When I saw this, I literally lost one of my nine lives. No, no.. Screw that, I lost the second of my nine lives because Kratos murdered me so brutally w/ that display of amazing parenting. Now back to this, Horizon Zero Dawn ladies and gentlemen. The world, the combat, the animal cyborg dinosaur corrupted demon post apocalyptic madness that is Horizon Zero Dawn was just breath taking. How could you watch that gameplay reveal and not astral-project from you body, letting your soul visit the heavens before a safe return to your body so can freak out and go bananas? Everything shown in the demo above was simply amazing and I am proud to say I pre-ordered the collector's edition last week the second it went live. And after seeing this reveal today I would like to say that ordering the collector's edition for this game is one of the greatest things you can do as a gamer!

I'm not even going to talk about the Final Fantasy XV or Spider Man PS4 trailers, they speak for themselves. We are getting a PlayStation exclusive Spider Man game, what more do I need to say? The trailer was amazing and I do not play Spider Man games but you can beat your ass I will be getting this one. As for Final Fantasy XV, listen.. Final Fantasy XV drops September 30th, I ordered the Limited Edition, and I will see you all on my YouTube channel then. That is all!

Lionheart's E3 2016 Highlights: Microsoft!

Hello everyone, today is Monday June 13th, and E3 2016 is here! Every year, know matter what I have going on or where I may be, I put everything aside to engage in E3 madness. Today I am happy to say, I have the ability to share my thoughts w/ you guys and gals on what stood out to me this year from E3. Starting w/ Microsoft's conference, the way to describe this showcasing of new games and technology is "Oh My GOD"! Coming from a PlayStation guy (who used to be on Xbox mind you), I have to say I am impressed. For this Microsoft section of this post, I will be discussing my thoughts on; the Xbox One S, Gears of War 4, SCALEBOUND, Final Fantasy XV, and the stand alone card game Gwent!

Similar to Microsoft, I would like to show you guys the Xbox One S again. So very quickly let's watch the reveal of the Xbox One S together, because everything else mentioned here will be based off of this trailer.

With the edition of this new hardware, which releases this August by the way, has opened new possibilities for Lionheart Gaming. As of today, I have made up my mind to purchase this beautiful piece of hardware in the near future. I have several reasons as to why, I'm not bandwagon hopping or being a fan boy.. Nothing silly like that, because as I stated previously I used to be a very committed Xbox player before I made my switch to PlayStation. Seeing this trailer, I was reminded about my first time seeing an Xbox at one of my good friends house. He was showing me 'Assassin's Creed' for the first time, back in 2007! So for me, to see Xbox evolve this much since than was really heart warming. But that wasn't what sold me, some of the things revealed throughout this conference is what persuaded me to make this decision.

Now, I'm going to break the order a bit here so please bare w/ me everyone. I am a firm believer of "hit em hard, hit em fast, and hit em good" meaning I will be showing you my favorite experience first vs last. What does that mean for you as a reader? It means you are about to see some new Scalebound Gameplay! Yaaayyyyyyy!!!! Lol, sorry guys I couldn't resist. Take a look at what, I for one, was happy to see.

Now let's talk a little bit about Scalebound. For those of you that may be seeing this for the first time, Scalebound is an Action Role-Playing-Game which is being developed by Platinum Games. You will be playing as Drew (the guy shown in the video above, w/ the beats headset) who will be accompanied by his Dragon Thuban throughout your playthrough. If you're seeing this for the first time you may not be aware that Thuban's appearance as well as his abilities can be customized, as well as Thuban can be issued different commands by his tamer Drew. As for Drew, he will have access to both ranged and melee weapons. In the demo above, I was very happy to see Drew using a Bow and Arrow, but for people who love Guns fear not because Guns are confirmed to be in this game as well. However, the game is said to not have a crafting system.. The weapons you acquire will probably be found, purchased, or taken off of enemies you defeat. Lastly I will like to point of, I was very happy to see that Scalebound supports 4 player Co-Op! That is pretty damn amazing, and I look forward to joining some friends in the fantasy world of Scalebound in 2017.

Moving on to the next big, fantasy game of the show. Final Fantasy XV! Which is currently receiving all kinds of missed reviews from the demo shown during this conference. I don't really understand as to why that is, maybe because the person playing the demo got slapped around. Or maybe people just really don't like the way the game looks? I for one, had no issues w/ the content that was displayed. For several reasons, one being that I got to witness Noctis take on this gigantic Titan thingy. Like, do you guys see this?

The creature is massive, the game looks good in my opinion, the MUSIC! The music is fantastic, seriously.. How can you not be in love with this? The battle seems to be very challenging, it introduces some sort of ice magic or ice bomb thing that hasn't been seen before and it just gives us that extra bit of hype before we can get our hands on title this September 30th.

Moving on to a title I don't really play that much, but I can appreciate how far it has come in it's franchise. Very briefly I will be congratulating 'Gears Of War 4' on making it this fear into it's series, Gears 4 looks great and for people that are into this franchise but may have missed it's showcasing, here it is.

Moving on to something that took me by surprise. I am a big 'The Witcher' fan, so when they announced that the card mini game featured in 'The Witcher 3' is getting a stand alone game.. I lost it! Lol, I love games like Yu-Gi-Oh, Duel Masters, and Magic The Gathering so seeing Gwent get a stand alone game was definitely exciting. I will gladly welcome Gwent into my library of games, and I will happy challenge anyone on my friends list foolish enough to challenge me. Here is another look at the Gwent reveal trailer!

Ladies and Gentlemen, thank you so much for taking time out to read this blog. All video footage is from the IGN, I always watch E3 w/ IGN and if you aren't able to watch E3 live I encourage you to view all footage you miss over at IGN's. Please let me know you how you feel about Microsoft's press conference? What are your thoughts on the Xbox One S? The Xbox Scorpio, Forza Horizon 3, the Reckon game? I love hearing what you guys have to say. I will be posting my thoughts on Sony's press conference bright and early tomorrow morning, so stay tuned for that! See you guys :)

P.S. - I apologize for any grammatical errors

Pre - E3 2016 Hype! Trailers Galore!

Hello guys and girls, with E3 2016 is just a few days away! Can you believe it? Starting on this Sunday, we will be blessed with all kinds of; video game reveals, tech reveals, demos, and glimpses of the near future. But before we take that step forward please allow me to reach into the past and share some amazing trailers w/ you guys and girls. Earlier this week, I wrote a blog similar to this, speaking on my HYPE for this years E3 expo. And would you believe, on that same day, around the same time a few new trailers started to go live? And ever since then, throughout this whole week (June 6th - Present) we have been receiving all kinds of new gameplay and story trailers to further increase our hype! I will be showing you all some of these trailers, keep in mind, I am a PlayStation loyalist w/ some Nintendo buried deep in my heart. Please do not feel any type of way if I do not showcase PC or Xbox titles here, because they will receive no love here today, lol.

Now, if you've read my previous blogs then you should know how bad I want to play 'Horizon Zero Dawn' but I am sad to say that will not be possible this year. For the official release date, along w/ a brand new trailer has be revealed for this title on Monday, June 6th. Horizon Zero Dawn is scheduled to release on February 28th, 2017. Also, a collector's edition for EU has also been announced, click this link to view it for yourselves (Amazon - Horizon Zero Dawn Collector's Edition). Here's the trailer everyone, I hope you enjoy :)

The next trailer I would like to bring to everyone's attention is this 'Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age' trailer, also revealed on Monday, June 6th. Now, as I am not a huge Final Fantasy fan, I have no idea what Final Fantasy XII is about. The Final Fantasy games I've played are: Final Fantasy VII - Crisis Core, Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy XIV, and Final Fantasy Type 0 HD Remaster (which I have the Platinum trophy for by the way). So when I saw that this game Final Fantasy XII was getting a full remake, my full attention assaulted this trailer. And I continuously assaulted this video (replayed it silly) again and again in amazement, it really does look good. So allow me to show this to you all :)

But wait, the greatness does not stop here! Monday night (yes the same day), around 11:25pm another trailer was revealed! For 'World Of Final Fantasy' a game I have been waiting for since it's E3 2015 reveal, in this trailer we get an October 25th release date! This unique, change of pace for the Final Fantasy franchise will be greatly welcomed by me. It's so similar to Pokemon / Ni No Kuni / Yo Kai Watch (just to give a few examples) but remains true to Final Fantasy. Characters from previous titles will be featured throughout this game, so traveling w/ you and others you can summon in battle!! I have high hopes for this, so I am proud to be sharing this here today. Here take a look :)

And speaking of Pokemon, since I brought it up, I might as well show you guys this Pokemon Sun & Moon trailer. It's only right! Right? Can you guys guess which version I will be getting? Lol

Alright, back on topic, this is a PlayStation blog! So, I know you guys must have started to see a pattern by now in the games that I play and share w/ you all. I play a lot of RPG's and J-RPG's, so I have to show everyone this 'Kingdom Hearts 2.8' trailer right?! Yes, I know, you love me. And I love you too! <3

P.S. - I'm not sure if Kingdom Hearts falls under the RPG category or not, but it definitely has RPG elements so it will be featured here w/ pride!

Lastly, I will be showing you guys the greatest game of all times. A game that millions of people around the world owns, and that millions of people play daily. A game w/ one of the biggest and greatest communities that open help noobs and elitist alike whenever they are in need of a partner to complete a task. A game that never gets old, because they contain always feels free and exciting no matter how many thousands of hours you clock into it. A game that's sooo great it has caused to me feed you guys w/ all of this bs!!! Lmao, I'm sorry, I couldn't resist. In all seriousness though, I will be showing you guys this 'Destiny: Rise Of Iron' trailer, which you will be able to get your hands on this September 20th.

Thank you all you dropping by today, it really means a lot. Please let me know what you guys and girls think about the content displayed above. What are you hoping to see revealed at E3? Are you guys gonna be purchasing any titles day 1? Are you disappointed that PlayStation 4k / "Neo" will not be showcased at E3? Let me know down in the comments, or you can tweet me @ Lionheart's Twitter and converse w/ me there. Again, thank you all for dropping by, see everyone Monday evening after the PlayStation E3 stage demo!
