PlayStation Experience 2015 ! My Thoughts And Impressions

On Saturday, December 5th, 2015

Sony held a conference called "PlayStation Experience" where they showcased a number of new games, as well as new footage for games we're already expecting or already own. From AAA titles to the smaller indie titles, Sony revealed what us gamers can call a series of early Christmas gifts. Here I will tell you guys what stood out to me during this conference and provide you with links to content that is currently available in the PlayStation Store with the arrival of this event.

Coming in strong at number one for me is Final Fantasy VII. A lot of people were hype, while a lot of others were disappointed with the arrival of this new FFVII trailer. I for one, and happy as hell FFVII while be played similarly to Final Fantasty Type 0 and not it's traditional turn based counterpart. While I have nothing against turned based strategy games, I played far too many and I need a break from that style of gaming. I look forward to seeing more from the FFVII Remake/Remaster, and if you haven't already seen it you can watch the reveal for yourself here.

And that's not all! If watching this new reveal trailer gets you over amp'd and you cannot wait for this FFVII remake any longer, you are in luck. You can purchase the classic PlayStation version of FFVII on your PlayStation 4 via the PlayStation Store with this link here: Final Fantasy VII on PS4

The second big reveal for me, that got me so hype and happy to be a PlayStation Gamer was the trailer for "Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom" and again, I am HYPE for this title. I loved Ni No Kuni: Wrath Of The White Witch for PlayStation 3. It was an amazing, well written, beautifully animated game. With fun combat, and an interesting story that grabs your heart, squeezes it, and makes a glass of freshly squeezed feelings, Ni No Kuni is easily one of my favorite games ever. And for it to be getting a sequel that's exclusive to PlayStation 4 warms my heart. If you haven't already seen it, you can watch the trailer here.

Lastly, something that got my was actually revealed officially yesterday by Sony. You can now purchase from the PlayStation Store classic PlayStation 2 titles on your PlayStation 4. And on the list currently available one title in particular caught my eye, Rogue Galaxy.

I have never heard of this title, and after doing some light research I'm sad of it, because it looks pretty good. So good in fact, that Rogue Galaxy is going to be the next game I feature on my YouTube channel. PlayStation has announced that they will "try" (keyword) to update the selection of PlayStation 2 titles you can purchase regularly, hopefully franchises like: Full Metal Alchemist, Inuyasha, Star Ocean and other great titles will be uploading to this library of games.

And that's it for me personally. Sony revealed a lot of Indie titles that I don't care for, Sparrow Racing for Destiny Taken King which I really don't care for (starts on December 8th), and a few titles for the PlayStation VR that makes me think 2016 is far to early for such technology to exist. You can check all that stuff out if you guys are interested, both PlayStation and IGN have videos of everything that was revealed today on their YouTube channels. I have to say, aside from these three titles I was very disappointed with this years presentation. Hopefully, tomorrow brings better news and excitement.
