Thanksgiving Is Upon Us

Thanksgiving Day

"Is a national Holiday celebrated in both Canada and the United States as a day of giving thanks for the blessing of the harvest and of the proceeding year."

As stated above, Thanksgiving is a national Holiday were families gather together, exchanging prayers of thanks. Commercially, Thanksgiving is praised for being a time of harvest and feasting. A good chunk of people allow themselves to get caught up in the commercialism of the Holiday, and forget to give thanks for all of the blessings they have received, and will continue to receive. Well, I am a man of "Heart" and I have a lot to be thankful for. So much in fact that I've decided to extend my heart out to you all and say my thanks publicly, as well as wish everyone a Happy Holiday. So here goes.

First,

I want to give thanks to God. For everything I am, every place I go, everything I have, every thing I have learned and everything I have accomplished this year is all thanks to him. Numerous opportunities I never imaged could ever fall upon me, fell upon me. Although something priceless was bestowed upon me this year as well, and I vow to never waste that beautiful and magnificent blessing. Something I have searched for, looked and begs for, for many years was finally giving to me. A sense of "Purpose."

A sense of "purpose" you say? So, all this time you never once felt you had a purpose? Did you perhaps think that your existence was meaningless?

Yes, there have been many occasions where I have questioned what life has in stored for me. For instance, I love art but I cannot draw. I love music but I don't have an affinity for it, I cannot produce beats or play instruments well. I love technology yet I am constantly falling behind with all the new tech that's released every year and all the capabilities or functionalities. I love cars but I am the furthest thing from a mechanic this world has ever seen (excluding new born babies, lol). Don't even joke about me being an athlete, sports don't even interest me. If I could choice my on career or profession, at one point in time I would have immediately roared "I WANT TO BE A GAME DESIGNER!!!" With all my Heart and soul. Before this year that is, when I finally realized what my purpose in life is. After reading this section of the post I'm sure you're curious as to what I'm aspiring to do in life. Sorry to inform you, I'm keeping that a secret for now. I have to leave some food for thought, you know?

Next,

I would like to give thanks to my beautiful Girlfriend and Mother of my unborn Son. This young woman has helped me learn and accomplished so much in our short period of time together. It's through her that I was able to both attend and graduate College. God's will through her, I was blessed with a Son, who is due in February, 2016. Thanks to her I learned to appreciate the life God has given me, and I am able to take it and all my endeavors seriously. And lastly, thanks to her, I am becoming a decent man. This November marks our 1 Year Anniversary, may we have many more to come.

Now, in this next section I will be giving thanks to both my friends and family. As well as new acquaintances, and even people I haven't spoken to in awhile. A lot of people have been positive influences in my life this year, and I thank you all.

To all of my friends, you guys are amazing. Seriously, some of you I've literally known since our Rugrat days, the bonds and history we share I wouldn't trade for the world. Others that I've met in Middle School, later on in High School, work places, and College, thank you for sticking around. I know I can be a lot to deal with, but you guys deal and I can't thank you enough. We may not speak every day, my but Heart remains true, I cherish and care for all of you guys. And as for my family, my Mother, Aunt, Uncle and Brother's (I'm including you as a Brother, Cousin) especially. I wouldn't even have had any of the opportunities stated above as a possible in my life if it weren't for you guys. There's so much I could say for each and every one of you individually, that I would have to make separate post dedicated to each of you. No amount of thanks can express my gratitude to you all, I'm blessed to have such an amazing array of family and friends.

Finally, I want to give a special thanks to PlayStation. Sony, you cater to my 95% of all my gaming desires. You have inspired me to learn another language. And you guys have really transformed my household into a true Lion's Den. Congratulations on selling 30 million PlayStation 4 systems, I wish your company many more years of success.
